Described as resembling a robot vacuum equipped with arms, Isaac 1 is built to handle unstructured physical tasks in domestic environments. The machine comes in five pastel colors. According to Business Insider and Techloy, the robot's primary functions include folding clothes, putting away laundry, straightening cushions, and tidying general room clutter.
Autonomy and Limitations
Isaac 1 aims for autonomous operation but utilizes remote human teleoperation as a fallback when the system cannot complete a task. This marks a technical progression from the company's earlier prototype, Isaac 0. Announced in February 2026, the previous model relied heavily on remote human teleoperation to fold clothes. That system raised immediate privacy questions regarding remote workers viewing the inside of users' homes. Isaac 1 attempts to minimize this reliance by handling more tasks autonomously, though the teleoperation safety net remains.
